Don’t ask what’s wrong or ask how I feel. I’m depressed, to describe that is nothing. It’s empty and dark and heavy. It’s a complete lack of anything. What you can do is come with me into the sun to work and hurt my muscles and try to fill the empty with anything that isn’t this.

When I was in 10th grade my Honors English teacher made fun of me for mispronouncing a word and the whole class laughed. It was the last year I took Honors English and I still hold it against that asshole.
